1. Pastor's Message

Hey Friends,

We just wanted to update you on a couple of news items that just came up.

First, we just got word that Pastor Jack Sequeira will be doing a weekend (Friday evening, Sabbath, and Sunday) seminar on Righteousness by Faith at the Hayward SDA Church. When I heard this, I was so excited because of the impact he had had in my own faith when I was at the SDA Seminary and he was our week of prayer speaker.

Pastor Jack is a retired Adventist Pastor. Most recently he pastored the Capital Memorial Adventist church in Washington D.C., and before that the Walla Walla Village SDA Church. His favorite subject (and area of expertise) is the subject of salvation by faith.

You'll love his humorous presentations, and the following are some of the benefits you will reap from attending this seminar:

1. A clearer understanding of the books of Romans and Galatians.
2. A deeper appreciation of the sacrifice of Christ on our behalf and the difference it makes in our everyday life.
3. A closer walk with Jesus in our faith.

So, please plan on taking advantage of this rare opportunity of deepening your faith. There is a picture/poster and complete information on the attached file (Word document) that I hope you will look up.

Secondly, there is a gentleman who works on campus in one of our businesses who recently approached my wife (Rowena) and said that he was interested in attending our church. But he has no ride and lives in Watsonville.

Would one or two of you be willing to take turns and give him a ride on Sabbath for church? If so, let me know, and I will give you his information.

2. Seminar Information
