1. Pastor Update
Pastor Sam is on the MBA mission trip to an orphanage in Mexico as part of a team of 50. Please keep this group in your prayers as they minister to the children and their care givers there.

2. Encouragement from God's Word
"My purpose is that they may be encouraged in heart and united in love, so that they may have the full riches of complete understanding, in order that they may know the mystery of God, namely, Christ, in whom are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge." Colossians 2:2-3 NIV

3. Board Announcement
The church board just voted to send the charitable contribution receipts once a quarter instead of each month. If someone would like to get an update in the middle of the quarter, just call or email Susan Kaplan <susank@mbachurch.org>, MBA church treasurer.

4. Church Budget
The Mission Offering will be going to the Projector/PowerPoint project until completed.

Offerings to Date & Goal
1. Projector Total Goal $10,000 To Date $ 6,047.16
2. Church Budget Monthly Goal $ 4,004 To Date $ 1,586.69
3. Roof Repair Total Goal $35,000 To Date $10,574.52

5. Church Bulletin Announcements
Herb Dunn's graphic design class is now doing the church bulletin. Many thanks to Herb and his students!!! If you need to send in an announcement for the church bulletin here is what you need to do. All bulletin information needs to get to Herb <herbdunn@msn.com> by Tuesday, if possible, or at least by Wednesday. On home leaves and vacation bulletin information should go to Sam Kaligithi <samk@mbachurch.org>.

6. Volunteers Needed at Soquel Campground!
Soquel campground is having a work bee from May 28 to June 11. They are looking for laborers as well as professionals in all construction areas. Anyone who would like to help out can either show up or call Jeff Badger.
