Namaste!

We just got back last night from "El Oasis" in Mexico. What an awesome experience it was!

I want to thank all of you for the part you played in this mission trip, either through your prayers or the financial support (those children's offerings) you gave.

We worked on a house and put together a play ground for the orphan children. We (particularly our students) also had opportunities to spend time with the kids and play with them. Although the weather wasn't that great (it was rainy and cold) we were able to finish the projects we had in mind to do.

I also think our MBA students had a wonderful spiritual experience. We had a great team of adult counselors (Jason Mustard, Dean Nathan, and Dean Ruth) that kept the students alive and excited. We also had some wonderful moments of worship amongst ourselves.

I am reminded of Jesus' words in speaking about judgment and the end of time in Matthew 25:40: "Whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did for me."

And we did see the face of Jesus in each of those little children. Thanks again for sending us there.

Two Sabbaths from now (if things work out) we will have a Sabbath dedicated to sharing the experiences (and may be a few video clips) that we had on our mission trip.

This Sabbath (Feb 22) David Kaplan will be sharing the experience he and the rest of the team had that went to the SEEDS conference in Modesto just a few weeks ago.
