1. Pastor Update

Namaste!

I must tell you that Tuesday evenings are a great time for me to write these little newsletter articles. I feel so energized spiritually after the 'Olive Grove' experience with the students. There is a quiet but keen stirring of the Spirit that is taking place among our students here on our campus. And I get to hear it and feel it at the Olive Grove.

Tonight we had a group of about 15 students who came and shared what God is doing with them. One girl wept profusely as she felt the Spirit of God pour out love into her heart (Romans 5:5 "God has poured out his love into our hearts by the Holy Spirit, whom he has given us.")

For those of you who attended our worship services this past weekend heard two students (Brent T. and Joe C.) share a message - Friday evening and Sabbath morning respectively - with our congregation. They were powerful. Not to mention that short but spirit-filled prayer Justin Daily led on Sabbath morning.

Well, tonight after Olive Grove there was another student who came up and volunteered to preach. This is great. I am more than happy to step to the side and let you be blessed by the fruits of our collective labor and prayers.

So, just to let you know, just when you think Satan is gaining ground, God surprises us by revealing to us that Satan has only been preparing the ground for God's grand work. I believe it is happening here at MBA. Let him who has eyes, see…and give God glory!

2. Invitation to Coming Sermons

Special invitation for the next two Sabbaths: I want to share with you a paradigm God has been showing me and strongly impressing upon me the past several weeks. It has to do with the incredible opportunity we have on this campus for evangelism. The next two Sabbaths, I will be sharing with you a series of messages on the topic of evangelism that has to do with God's love for lost people and our role in it. So don't miss them. --Samuel

3. Christian Edition - Friday Evening

"Christian Edition" men's chorus concert is this Friday evening (March 21) at 7:00 p.m. at the Monterey Bay Academy SDA Church. Come and be blessed.

4. Church Budget Update

God loves a cheerful giver! Remember that the budget is set up to support our local ministries in addition to covering the usual expenses. Here is a summary for March:

Offerings to Date & Goal
Church Budget Monthly Goal $ 4,004 To Date $ 2,892.27
Computer & Projector Goal $10,000 To Date $ 6,776.91

The second offering project for this quarter is for the church computer and projector.

5. Friday Sundown & Sabbath Offering

This Friday sundown will be at 6:20 p.m., and the offering this Sabbath will go to Conference Advance.

6. Potluck Photos

We had a wonderful potluck last Sabbath with lots of great food and wonderful fellowship. We missed all those who couldn't attend. Take a look at the potluck photo scrapbook.

7. Potluck Lost & Found

Someone left a few salad dressing bottles behind after our last potluck at the Bunkhouse. If they are yours, please give me a call at 768-1175. I brought them home so that you can pick them up from here. --Samuel
